We ventured to Hamdeok Seoubong Beach, despite the overcast weather, for a relaxing afternoon.
Bungeoppang
This pastry treat is filled with red beans, but it is sweet and tastes like a Nutella pancake!
This gentleman was selling bungeoppang out of the trunk of his car. $0.50 per fish :) Tasty!
Statue depicting traditional Korean fishermen.
Despite being one of the most popular beaches on the island, we had it to ourselves for the day :)
Playing in the sand :)
Tourist shots :)
Traditional way of making rice.
Jisun and her ancestors.
Jisun bowing to her elder.
The water was a beautiful, clear blue-green.
Jindo dog 진돗개
Traditional Korean dog.
Yes, it seems like everything is "traditional."
The first dog that Ashley has touched since we arrived in Jeju, she's been a little nervous about the animals around here :)
We have been extremely successful utilizing the bus system on the island.
Today's trip cost a total of $1.90.
Until next time, Hamdeok!
