Students explored different painting techniques to create animal art as part of our Biome Unit.
Students painted the back/blank side of a stencil page, which they later cut and constructed to create collage-style animals, inspired by author and artist Eric Carle's work.
Eric Carle's art is distinctive and instantly recognizable. His art work is created in collage technique, using hand-painted papers, which he cuts and layers to form bright and colorful images.
